Cooling
The heat pump system can also be applied for cooling. In that case this cooling element comes into effect. The same water source that is used for heating during the winter, helps you keep your home or industrial building nice and cool in the summer.
In this case the water in the floor pipes is cooled by the groundwater. Which of course is transported back into the ground…a little warmer than it was in the pumping up stage.
Certainly, an air conditioning system also cools, but at the same time, as we know, uses an extreme amount of electricity. A heat pump system uses far less electricity and provides a healthy and cool indoor-climate without drafts and dryness of air…unlike air conditioning.
